Welcome to Our Reception Class Pages
In Reception we are always busy and have lots of fun and adventures as we learn lots of new things, work hard and play. We have a safe and secure environment and learn in a structured and stimulating setting using lots of fun and exciting resources. Our highly experienced and qualified teachers and teaching assistants are:
Mrs Hartland (Monday to Wednesday)
Mrs Evans (Thursday and Friday)
Ms Birkett (Monday to Friday)
Feel free to come and speak to any of us if you have any questions and concerns. Alternatively you can put a note in your child's reading record for us to read or e-mail us via the school secretary (secretary@wsmschool.org) and we will respond to your messages as soon as possible.
Reception year at Winkfield St Mary's is an important foundation to their learning and we have created a curriculum which will prepare children to be ready for Year 1 learning. You can access a document which explains this here.
On this page you will find key diary dates and details of our home learning for the Autumn Term 2022

In addition we will send home the phonic sounds we have been learning each week for you also to practice at home with your child. As the year develops a weekly maths task will be set as well.
